Secret Stages is a two-day music discovery festival that takes place in downtown Birmingham, AL on the first weekend of August. Treat yourself to over 60 bands performing on the stages of Birmingham’s downtown Loft District. All Secret Stages venues are within a two-block radius and filled with up-and-coming or under-the-radar acts drawn from the nation, the region and our own back yard. So, come to the city center, park, and have walking access to all of our bands across a variety of venues, as well as the many restaurants, pubs, shopping and other things downtown Birmingham has to offer.

Secret Stages 2017 will be held on August 4 and August 5, 2017, in the loft district of downtown Birmingham, AL. All venues are located between 1st and 2nd Ave north, and between 22nd and 24th streets north.

Online ticket purchases are available at Will Call beginning Friday, August 4th at 12:00 noon. Will Call and Box Office are located in the parking lot between Pale Eddie's and Rogue Tavern on the 2300 block of 2nd Ave. N.

Guests under 18 can buy a venue pass for the Main Stage for $15. Guests between the ages of 18 and 20 can buy any pass for $5 off.

Festival merchandise will be available near the Main Stage on the 2300 block of 2nd Ave. N. between Rogue Tavern and Pale Eddie’s.

The Box Office will open at noon on Friday, August 5th and is located in the parking lot between Pale Eddie's and Rogue Tavern on the 2300 block of Rogue Tavern.

The 2017 schedule is not yet available. When it is, it will be available online and we'll update this FAQ.

There is plenty of street parking available within walking distance of the festival.

Weapons, food & drink, alcohol, illegal substances of any kind, pets (service dogs will be permitted), professional recording equipment, detachable lens camera, audio recording equipment, video recording equipment, gopros, selfie sticks, fireworks or other explosives, no unauthorized vendors will be permitted, no solicitations, handbills, sampling, give-aways, etc.

You should bring cash. Many bands accept cards or other forms of payment, but we can't guarantee anything.
